My artist anti-statement
You see many artist’s statements that are great exercises in puffery and pomposity. I’ll avoid that.
Simply put, I photograph whatever triggers my impulse to make a photograph. I won’t photograph things because I think I should or because I feel they may be popular. I’ll make photographs that I’m compelled to make. I’ll photograph them in my own way and damn the rules and damn the consequences.
