a wilderness ebook — ‘an honest silence’
As I announced last week, Ann, Greg, and I are releasing an ebook, An Honest Silence: a Celebration of Wilderness, and today is the day. David Leland Hyde of Landscape Photography Blogger contributed a fine foreword to the book. Not only is David a fine blogger in his own right, he also works tirelessly to bring the work of his late father, pioneering landscape photographer Philip Hyde, to the public. His contribution is greatly appreciated.
To say wilderness has been a guiding force in my life is an understatement. A book like this may be a small contribution to the efforts to protect our wild places, but worthwhile nonetheless. My biggest hope is that you will buy the book and be inspired to get involved with those efforts on behalf of our great wild places. I thank you in advance.
The book is available as a 48-page download for a mere five dollars, and you can order a copy here at Alpenglow Images, or simply click the button below.

As I wrote over at Alpenglow, congratulations and great job Greg, PJ and Ann. It is indeed a fine collection of writing worth far more than the measly five bucks. Anyone who hasn’t bought it yet, what are you waiting for?
